Bison River Resort - a unit of the Indian Adventures chain of wildlife and adventure resorts, along with all its wildlife and other activities now offers the thrill of WHITE WATER RAFTING, the first of its kind in south India.

Located on the scenic banks of the magnificient River Kali,BISON RIVER Resort is a deluxe property offering a variety of adventure activities from wild-life safaris,nature treks, birdwatching, fishing, WHITE WATER RAFTING (Subject to water levels), and excursion to LittleTibet.

The rapids of river Kali range from thrilling rough and tumble drops to gentle entralling range of long water stretches, offering scope for keen professional rafters to a gentle family Rafting ride.

RAFTING PROGRAMME :

1. Bison River Run (4 hours Over 13 Kms.)

This rafting program passes through the BISON RIVER FALLS and covers the entire range of the rough and gentle rapids over 13 kms. of the river. The entire stretch of rafting covering the roughest channels through magnificient forest of the Western Ghats.With some luck you will also see wildlife during this rafting run.
2. The Mid Run (3 hours Over 9 Kms.):
This rafting program starts from the BISON RIVER FALL and mediates in between some of the rougher channels to the easier rapids of the river offering enough thrills for the amateur rafter and adventurous individuals. The river stretch covered approximately 9 kms. through the forest area with Wildlife sighting possibility.

The rafting program is carefully designed and managed by rafting professionals giving due care not only for your thrills and pleasure but also of the safety and comfort with modern safety aids such as Walkie - Talkies, SOS Team following and meeting at required points for emergencies, conveniences and pick-up, life jacket and helmets will also be provided for all guests participating.
